The Sony Cybershot DSC-HX1 is the first cyber-shot camera that includes the Sweep Panorama technology. The new Sony Cybershot DSC-HX1 cyber-shot camera can capture 224-degree panorama shots in just one easy press-and-sweep motion. The Sony Cybershot DSC-HX1 cyber-shot camera also uses the exclusive 1/2.4-inch Exmor CMOS sensor technology which allows the camera to attain burst speeds of 10 frames per second at full 9.1 megapixel resolution in continuous burst mode. The Exmor CMOS sensor conveys exceptional images, reduces noise disturbances and can continuously shoot at high speed levels. This technology is also combined with the supreme BIONZ imaging processor which immediately overlays them into one picture. The camera calculates the position of objects and composes the sharpest picture which results in clearer and sharper images.
The Sony Cybershot DSC-HX1 has a mechanical shutter that helps reduce alteration while the user is shooting a moving subject. The cyber-shot camera captures movie clips in 1080p HD resolution, and the built-in stereo microphone present in the camera records clear and crisp audio. The camera has 20x optical zoom and can record 30 frames per second at a picture resolution of 1440 x 1080 fps. The Sony Cybershot DSC-HX1 camera has the suitable and powerful intelligent auto mode which merges with the Intelligent Scene Recognition, Optical SteadyShot and face detection technologies. These features enables the camera to easily recognise scenes and lighting conditions within 1/13 of a second and change settings accordingly.
A new selected-face memory function is present in the Sony Cybershot DSC-HX1 which registers one face as the main face and then adjusts the exposure, focus, flash and white balance accordingly. Every time the selected face comes in focus of the frame, the camera recognises it. The camera has dimensions of 115 x 83 x 92 mm and weighs just 514 g.
