Japanese photography giant Canon recently launched its new digital camera in the market. The Canon Power Shot A480 was launched in a bid to replace the previous model A470 as a better contender. The Canon PowerShot A480 boasts of a more compact body, easy handling and better operation. This model is relatively smaller in size. The PowerShot camera comprises a centralised button which makes handling the camera relatively easier.
This 10 mega pixel camera has a 2.5” LCD screen fitted in which helps to view the clicked pictures with clear precision and ease. Other highlights of Canon Power Shot A480 include its Motion Detection and Face Detection technology. The camera is fitted with Canon’s DIGIC III processor which helps to develop high quality images. The camera is currently available in a plethora of colours, such as red, blue, and black and silver. The camera also features a small silver hand grip, a feature which is missing even in some of the high-end models.
The pictures taken with Canon Power Shot A480’s 10 mega pixel camera can be enlarged in print even in sizes as large as A3+. The Canon PowerShot A480 camera offers more tan 15 different shooting modes along with Automatic Red-Eye Correction technology. The 3.3x optical zoom lens features a focal length of 37-122mm. talking about its looks, Canon Power Shot A480 manages to fare moderately well with its “toy-camera” styling. Individuals who are looking for a decent working camera within a suitably affordable price wouldn’t mind compromising on its modest looks.
