Successor to the flagship PowerShot G10 compact released last year, Canon PowerShot G11 has been launched as top of the line camera. Suitable for a mid to higher level photographer, this compact camera has a 10 mega pixel high sensitivity CCD sensor, a 28-140mm image stabilised lens, 2.8 inch tilt and swivel LCD screen. It also features Flash Sync of up to 1/2000th of a second, Digic 4 image processing, HDMI connectivity and RAW shooting besides plenty of other features. Smaller is size than the PowerShot G10, Canon PowerShot G11 has an increased flash sync speed of 1/2000th of a second with an option of HDMI output. Dual Anti-Noise System (more sensitive sensor and Digic 4 offering a claimed 2-stop improvement over the G10) and P/A/S/M shooting modes are other features of this versatile camera.

Equipped to function in any light conditions, the G11 is clicks well in low light mode and allows the photographer to shoot up to ISO 12,800 in reduced 2.5MP resolution at 2.4fps. Its built-in Neutral Density filter decreases light levels by 3 stops allowing creative control in bright conditions.
