The Ricoh GX200 is a fabulous digital camera. The lenses are fitted in the similar 25mm thin case made up of rubber in comparison to its predecessor, the GX100. The resolution that has been provided this time has been inflated to 12 Mega Pixels and the noise will also be reduced courtesy the new Smooth Imaging Engine III technology. The lens measures around 72mm and with the screen being a 2.7 inch HVGA LCD with pixel production being 460,000. The wide angle range is 19mm. There are a total of five RAW format images that can be used on the Ricoh GX200. There is a new function related to the light intensity adjustment and the ISO sensitivity range has been made more accommodating.
The focal length is as sharp as it can be and the acceleration sensor plays an instrumental part in helping the camera body stay vertical/horizontal. The image quality is unperturbed and sharp where as the chromatic aberrations are taken care of by the sheer brilliance of the Ricoh GX200. The zoom feature is magnificent and helps the photographer in taking pointed images from close and complex angles.
