Samsung Electronics, a leader in innovative digital technology, has launched its latest E Series compact digital camera, the ES17. The Samsung ES17 is a low-cost camera that is equipped with a multitude of advanced features that make capturing high quality images hassle-free. The Samsung ES17 is a tremendously stylish 12 mega pixel camera that has an optical 3x zoom and all the other technologies that an individual expects at a highly affordable price. The Samsung camera has a maximum resolution of 4000 x 3000 pixels but it can also be reduced to 1024×768 pixels depending on the requirement of the user. The digital camera has 1/2.33-inch CCD sensor with wide zoom of 36 mm and tele zoom of 105 mm. The ES17 has auto focus with a focus range of 80 cm.

The flash modes of the ES17 digital camera includes anti red eye, auto, fill in, off and slow flash. It has f3.2 minimum aperture width. The digital camera has a minimum shutter speed of 8 seconds and a maximum shutter speed of 1/1500 seconds. The ES17 has a built-in flash with -2EV - +2EV with 1/3EV steps exposure compensation. The Samsung ES17 also includes video functions. The maximum video resolution is 640 x 480 pixels and the minimum video resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The ES17 digital camera captures 30 frames per second. The camera has a 2.5 inch LCD screen with resolution of 230,000 pixels. The camera includes the innovative Face Detection technology that detects a subject’s face and adjusts auto focus and auto exposure automatically, assuring better composition and image quality for portraits. The ES17 is available in pink, silver, white and black colours.
