The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1 14-140mm is the second of Panasonic’s Micro Four Thirds camera but the first to support HD movie recording. The best feature of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1 is that it records movies in high definition, with the help of its new 14 - 140 mm kit lens, which allows continuous auto focusing while the user is shooting. The Panasonic Lumix GH1 camera supports recording in Full HD at 24 fps, but if the user prefers for a lesser resolution, it can be done at 1280 × 720 pixels and 60 fps in AVCHD video format. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1 also includes a 10x optical zoom and auto focus system that reduces noise in the recordings.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1 camera also includes 12.1-megapixel sensor, image stabilizer, various automatic modes, 3-inch rear screen, HDMI output, SD memory cards and Micro Four-thirds. It also features a stereo microphone, including the Dolby Digital Stereo Creator technology to record high quality audio. With just a press of the one touch Motion Picture button the shooting spree begins. The unique Creative Movie mode, the shutter speed and aperture of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1 can be adjusted and fixed according to the scene. The focal length of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1 camera ranges from 1.64 inch (0.50m) to infinity. The camera also includes 2 seconds or 10 seconds self-timer with intelligent multiple, spot and centre-weighted metering system. The Lumix camera has a built-in flash which ranges up to 34.5 inch (10.5m). The camera is powered by DMW-BLB13 rechargeable Lithium-ion battery and can be operated under the temperature conditions of 32 - 104°F or 0 - 40°C. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1 has dimensions of 83.57 x 123.95 x 45.21mm and weighs 13.6 oz (385g).
