DSLR A 350 Alpha series from Sony Electronics is a DSLR camera mid range. It comes with a 14.2 mega pixel sensor and one of the best quality live view system. The anti shake system in this Sony DSLR camera is improved and impressive.

The camera also features a handy LCD screen measuring 2.7 inches and comes in the flip out model. The Live View in this model has been possible with the help of the imaging CCD. Here the A350 performs like any normal DSLR with the help of the video system unlike other models and makes that provides Live View using the main imaging sensor.

This eliminates the need for the AF systems that detect contrast. They are usually sluggish and make operations very slow. In contrast, here the Quick AF Live View moniker relies on the auto focus operation based on the faster viewfinder. The Sony Alpha 350 body also features the Smart Converter, which makes it possible to zoom up to 2x and 14x magnification irrespective of the lens.

Controls are well laid out and user friendly. Picture output is well defined and colours are natural. The Super SteadyShot feature allows you to use the camera without any shake in order to click crisp pictures. Even with 16 to 80mm zoom, it is possible for a shutter speed of 1/15th second for a shot.

All these advanced features make the Sony A350 quite expensive. The only problem is continuous shooting rate is quite low compared to previous models.
