There is hardly any emotion in the world which we can hide from being displayed on our faces. The toughest task in the world for a good photographer is to capture those feelings in a perfect frame and that too within a split second.
Perhaps that is the art of good photography. The capture of once in a lifetime image which might not even occur again is the hallmark of a good photographer. The camera has to be prepared to execute the task with thorough perfection. Once again having the right equipment is crucial, and I personally recommend either the Nikon D200 or the Samsung GX-20, although there are of course other good options out there. If the event that has to be captured is about to happen indoors, then professionals recommend an ISO setting of either 400 or 800. If one feels like adding another dimension to the lighting, then the bounce flash head should be made use of as it also freezes that part of action which might not have been covered due to poor external light.
One if wishes to curb the peril of cropping in the camera, then the best thing to do would be to use the medium telephoto zoom lens which comes in variety. The most preferable one would be the F2.8 28 which helps a great deal while taking pictures from a distance.
Once all the pictures have been clicked, one need to have the courage to edit the bulk mercilessly so that only the best have been selected and all those which fail in meeting the standards are eliminated from contention.
Keep clicking as long as the numbers keep piling up. Don’t count the numbers, just keep going.
