The photographer must be a good swimmer and he should be an expert in scuba diving. Underwater Photography is unique and it requires different equipment as well as different carrying cases to capture good quality pictures. The colors look distorted and dull in water pictures once you are examining them later on your computer or laptop. Therefore, a different type of lens is used to take pictures of underwater objects, these lenses give clear and sharp pictures, and most commonly used underwater lens is fish-eye lens.

Since underwater photography requires different kinds of equipment, you will also need a different kind of camera bag in order for you to protect these sensitive electronic devices. To execute underwater photography, specially designed waterproof cameras are used. These cameras are designed specially to protect it from underwater pressure. Of course, waterproof cases can also be used on most types of normal cameras, although these often aren’t suitable for deep diving. Another dilemma with waterproof camera cases is that there is typically so one size fits all model available. For example, the Sony SPK-THA only works on Sony cameras, while the Panasonic DMW-MC FX 30 only functions with certain Panasonic models. Special underwater flash is used to create good lighting conditions. Overall it’s a difficult but daring task.
