The most unconventional form is known as War Photography Yes, you read it correctly its War Photography. Due to the risk involved this is obviously a type of photography reserved for professionals, with professional equipment like the digital SLR cameras like the Nikon D700. This form of photography depicts the terror of war mingled with the act of unconditional sacrifice for the motherland. No one can imagine the kind of conditions and atmosphere present in the field of war. But War Photography tells you the whole story.
Follow these guidelines:
• Let the photographs speak for themselves. The more outlandish it is the better the photograph. In war arena photographs are mainly taken to show the struggle and courage of the participating soldiers and their pathos.
• Capture unusual aspects. You cannot measure the war photographs with the scale of rules but you have to watch them with emotions. Of course make sure you also have the right equipment and tools for effectively capturing these emotions.
• Use contrast. Peace and war, beauty and ugliness make the photographs more effective. So a war photographer should try to portrait the whole scary atmosphere including the beauty of photograph, which will come by following the rules.
• See it from a photographer’s point of view. Be objective and unemotional. Leave the emotions for the photographs. There are several individuals who have participated in the war, not as a soldier but as a photographer. Mainly photojournalists come out as war photographers because they are the mirror of the society.
• So those who want to become the same must first know the art of capturing the “verbs” rather than the “noun”.
