A new flashgun compatible with both Canon and Nikon cameras, Nissin Di866 Nikon Professional Speedlite has a USB-port that makes it possible to upgrade its firmware. The Canon version works with DSLR cameras from Canon and Powershot cameras using ETTL and ETTL-2 systems while the Nikon version also works with Nikon DSLR cameras and Coolpix hotshoe cameras using i-TTL. Featuring auto rotation view colour display and fill-in sub-flash, the flashgun has a 315 volt high voltage power series connector. Equipped with wireless TTL, the flashgun has firmware up-date service via USB port.
Nissin Di866 Nikon has been specifically designed for use with digital SLR cameras and comes with many features that are ‘world’s first’. For instance, this new clip-on type flash unit is simple to use and incorporates an easy to read rotating colour display. The Nissin product can also be fired wirelessly where it can be used as a master or receiver. It features a guide number of 60m and Nissin’s original ‘My TTL’ user-adjustable TTL light output level. The flashgun also features high speed synchronisation for shutter speeds over 1/250th second and a recycling time of 3.5 seconds which is able to offer up to 150 full-power flashes per set of batteries. Compatible with Nikon digital SLR cameras and coolpix hotshoe cameras, the Nissin Di886 Nikon flashgun features a fill in sub-flash, which is activated while the main flash is bounced, and also a built-in wide angle diffuser and catch-light reflector. Other features of the flashgun include auto rotation view colour display, 315 volt high voltage power series connector, external auto-exposure sensor, multi AF assist light, High Speed Synchronization (HSS) and Battery Magazine quick loading system.
